Today I Like {2/5/12} Rabbit Night Light

{Okay, so this was SUPPOSED to publish last night… so I hold to my goal of one ‘Today I Like’ post a day in May. Obviously I’m starting off well…}

I know I’m grown-up and all, but, but… seriously – how cute is this?? This little bunny lamp is available at Lark, and is powered by batteries (with LED lights) so you could take him anywhere.

I want to buy one and take it travelling in the van – we could put it on the dashboard at night and freak out anyone walking by with the glowing angel bunny…

Today I Like {1/5/12} Amy Blackwell

Okies, so I’ve been rather sporadic with my ‘Today I Like’ posts… therefore, my goal for May is to do one every single night!

I love sharing little bits and pieces of loveliness that I come across with you – and I hope you enjoy reading these little posts as much as I enjoy writing them.

So! Today we have this lovely painting by Amy Blackwell. Based in Nottingham, her work is bold and sweet – how can you go wrong with cats and stripy socks, eh?

You can find out more about Amy on her blog here, and buy her pretties here.

Today I Like… {25/4/12} Flower Garden Necklace

This is completely gorgeous. Hand-embroidered by Meghann Rader – a visual artist from Canada – this necklace ticks all my boxes. Colourful – check. Earthy – check. All the elements working together – check. Lovingly hand-crafted – check.

And it’s OOAK, too… so if you like it, go here for a closer look.

And here for the rest of her gorgeous work, including some Pine Forest Treeline hand-painted pendants that I also love – they just scream NORTH-WEST USA/CANADA to me. When an image inspires my own memories of a place to come to life, I think it’s pretty special. Though I do have a soft spot for the NW – I’ve been there twice and my mum grew up in Multnomah, Oregon.

Now, when are we going to Canada? Eh?
