Happy… Saturday? Whoops! I wrote this post yesterday, but got so caught up in other work I forgot to hit that little Publish button 🙂
So! Here are my (belated) Friday Faves for the week.
Gorgeous work by a local (Brisbane-based) jeweller. I stumbled across her work on Etsy somehow – it’s always lovely to find a local doing amazing work.
Learn how to make this super-cute little leather pouch. Sewing-impaired moi could even manage it, I’m sure.
This image is a snippet from an ad for a perfume – Bohoboco Perfume No 1. I actually prefer this snippet to the full photo – it’s more dramatic and mysterious…
Multi-nut brittle. With sea salt!! Methinks this is going on the ‘treats’ menu in the near future.
I tweeted about this table earlier in the week – isn’t it gorgeous? We have a lot of furniture that we’ve either made, upcycled, or inherited, so I have a fondness for such things. Even our bed was handmade by a friend of ours!
A pretty new shop by a mate of mine, AMMIKI has a range of lovely abstract prints.
Total fluke that this ceramic looks very much like the abstract above! Guess I just like the style 🙂
This is really stunning. I love these double-exposure style of photographs.
An oldie but a goodie – I remember when this first came out, it must have been a few years ago now! Still a sweet idea 🙂 Stick it up at uni/your workplace/random public area to bring a smile to someone’s face.
That is SO me. I read books like they are air. Novels are my addiction of choice.
I’m heading out to do my second triathlon tomorrow (400m swim, 15k ride, 4k run) so wish me luck! It’s quite a bit longer than the last one I did, so I’m a tad nervous. I’m sure I’ll want to do nothing but collapse with a book for the rest of the day after I finish! Have an ace weekend x
