I’d give you some… but I’m afraid they didn’t last long…
The cupcakes were made using Amy Sedaris’ Cupcake Recipe – and it was very, very good. Although, I did substitute normal sugar for brown sugar (because that’s what I happened to have) and I think it worked wonderfully – they were really rich.
For the topping, I used this recipe from Bakerella – though it makes waaaaay more than you need for just cupcakes.
I also made a few more, with little Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups inside, because I could. Mmmm….
Oh, and the super-cute cake tin? I bought if from K-mart, would you believe. They’ve obviously caught on to the whole ‘retro is cool’ thing.
