Ahhh…
I have just spent two wonderful days and nights in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It was a cosy and much-needed break from the world of online work – since I am currently on holidays from my day job, too.
Nick and I hired a little cabin in the mountains…
From which we had a lovely, rainy view….
All the better when you’re snug as a bug in a rug, with a warm fireplace roaring.
Our days were spent reading, wandering around the shops, and kicking back for a few nice dinners in local pubs and restaraunts. I managed to finish two novels, including Twilight (yes, I have finally read it… it was good…).
A few days away was just what was needed to recharge, especially after such a hectic week!
I returned to find myself featured on the wonderful Macaroni and Glue – go have a peek if you want to know a bit more about me and why I do what I do!
Oh, I also wanted to show you all a few of the custom name necklaces I’ve made lately – so you can have a peek at what I’ve managed to do with different names!
…and this was a tricky one, though I’m really happy with how it turned out!
Okay, I’m off to kick back with some of the awesome fudge we picked up on our journey, and a cup of tea. Apologies for missing How-To Tuesday this week – we return to normal programming as of tomorrow!
Oh, and tomorrow I will be making a few bits a pieces – a custom order, a pair of earrings for a giveaway winner, as well as my gifts for Handmade Pay It Forward!

this is sooo cool jess! This is like that twilight movie too. You and nick should have jumped out of that balcony and climbed up those trees hehe
Beautiful cabin! It’s hard for me to imagine a roaring open fire would be needed in the QLD Hinterlands, haha ๐
Tif, you’d be surprised! It’s gets frelling cold up there in the mountains! ๐
