I have been starting to put my creations up for sale on Etsy.com. It’s a fantasic site, and is very cheap and easy to use – not to mention you are being connected with a huge number of byers.
However, I’ve also discovered another site – that’s totally free – on which I can list my handmade goods. It’s called ShopHandmade, and it’s still only at the beta testing stage. Therefore, it’s new, and there’s not much of a client base – but, I figure why not give it a go, get in on the ground floor! When it doesn’t cost me anything but a bit of time, and hopefully exposes my work to more people, it’s got to be a good thing.
If you are a creator of handmade goods, check it out! It’s totally free at the moment, and so risk-free. If you’re a buyer, get over there and start browsing! I plan on listing all of the goods I have on Etsy there as well for the same price. To check out my store, click here.
