This is something I *have* to try! Perhaps I can steal borrow an old teacup from my mum and pop a few of our succulents in there?

What a gorgeous idea! I have used pottery cassarole dishes to plant mini gardens in the past but I really do like the delicate look of the teacups.
Thank you for sharing the idea,
Cute idea! You could just go to the op shop Jess, that way you won’t get in trouble with your mum, LOL.
Haha Deb! Mum has a collection of mugs and teacups – but they’re all hidden away in the cupbord.. bet she’d neeeever notice ;D
They’re so super cute. I LOVE succulents, and I love vintage teacups – what a great combination! I must do it myself too! I assume though you’d need to drill a hole in the bottom.. so i won’t be using any “too good” cups
I have a gorgeous tea-cup that I was gifted – and if I didn’t have such a ‘black’ thumb I’d give it a try!!
T xo
This is so cute! Will have to add it to the ‘to try’ list!
Love it – I’m off to the thrift store on Tuesday to look for some tea cups, and I have just the tiny succulents to put in them.
I love love love this! I used to collect teacups and now have a bunch of pretty ones that I never quite knew how to display, so this is the perfect solution for me – thanks!
I managed to find one appropriate teacup at the flea market today – I’ll be off to the op-shop to find some more during the week!
Even though I don’t have a green thumb, anyone should be able to keep succulents alive….which is why it’s so frustrating when they die. Ugh….

That was almost 5 months ago, and they are still doing pretty well. Thanks for the cute idea!
pardon my dead brain, but do you rinse off the soil and use only the rocks to plant these?
I didn’t, I just used soil as usual and popped rocks on the top for decoration!
