Okay. So last night on the train I started something… accidentally.
I was aiming to make yet another granny square for my ‘white and bright’ blanket – but I got distracted and added an extra shell in the first round. I looked at the cute little pentagon shape and thought “hmm, I wonder where this will go?” So I kept going! By the time I got home, I had made this:
But what is it? What could it be?
I’ve asked around, and the suggestions so far are:
- a round throw blanket
- a round table-topper doily-thing
- a purse
- a slouchy hat/beanie
So – what do you think? Should I keep going with it? And most importantly – if I make a beanie – does it go with my hair?

Beanie! And of course it goes with your hair. (:
I did the exact same thing. I turned mine into a hot pad.
Another good idea! Thanks
How about a bag? You could make an identical one for the other side, then stitch them together. Might need a lining though and I know how you feel about sewing

I think a beanie would be great or you could frame it and put it as a wall hanging .
