Yesterday, while talking with my mum, I remembered that Granny gave me her sewing machine a few years ago! For some reason I thought it was still broken, but it seems okay – so tomorrow I might take it in for a service… and then I can begin my sewing odyssey!

It’s a Janome, and has a pretty straight-forward manual… I just hope all the bits (and feet!) are still in it.

I have bought some truly gorgeous fabrics to turn into many pretty things… but more on that later in the week 😉
