To be honest – with everything going on in my life, Easter has kind of crept up with me completely unaware. I think that when you don’t have kids in your life, and you don’t get out much, it’s easy for the whole thing to pass you by. The chocolate has always been my fave part, anyways, and that will be happening on Sunday, no doubt.

I always have trouble with seasonal holidays like Easter though, from a non-religious, Southern Hemisphere standpoint. I mean, it’s not Spring here, it’s Autumn! We should be celebrating the beginning of the cool season, the harvest, etc, not eggs and bunnies and Spring-type-things. It’s all a bit confusing, really!

However, it’s still nice to have an excuse to make something pretty, so I thought I’d put together this little collection of Easter crafts for ‘grown-ups’ who want to create stylish Easter decorations.

1. Dye-free eggs from Parents

2. Egg flower pots from Better Homes and Gardens

3. Dipped Eggs from Six and a Half Stitches

4. Silk-dyed eggs from Our Best Bites

5. Silhouette eggs from le papier studio

6. Washi tape eggs from Family Circle

7. Lace eggs from Martha Stewart

8. Felted eggs from A Swell Place to Dwell

9. Twine eggs from Landee See Landee Do

Which is your favourite? I like the silk-dyed eggs the best, so clever and pretty.
