All I can tell you is that it’s a quote and fan art from a screen cap of Betty Draper in “Mad Men”.
I can tell you, I’m not a boring person but I’m sure as hell bored right now. Illness means some days I can’t drive, I can’t craft, I can barely type, I can’t read, I can’t write and I can’t go out in the heat.
I used to agree with that saying, but right now I’m so bored its not even funny.
Cate – I think, if I were in your position, I would be going out of my mind… I need to be *doing* something, and if that ability was taken away from me, well, I think I’d be right where you are.

I’m probably pretty boring a lot of the time, but I am never, ever bored! In fact it’s probably that that makes me boring…I have such an agenda of things I want to do that I’m not that great at engaging with other people, which I might do better if I needed distraction…?
But, then, I can do everything that I want to do. Blackest of moments a few years ago when there was a chance I might have to have my right thumb amputated, so I can sort of imagine Cate’s circumstances.
What a great quote. Sometimes I find myself with so much that I want to do that I don’t do any of it… therefore rendering myself boring and bored! Trying to change that this year and always keep busy and creating!
