I remember, about a year or two ago, trying to find a good Australian vintage homewares store on Etsy. Alas, at the time I didn’t have much luck, but I’m happy to report that they’ve been popping up with a vengeance over the last year.
The Fox and The Spoon Vintage is one such shop that caught my eye recently. Run by Sydney-sider Maria Stevenson, The Fox and The Spoon not only stocks some gorgeous pieces, it also has beautifully styled, to-die-for photography.
I love the box of spool! So cute. I found The Vintage Parlor the other day via the Etsy blog and I want everything in the store. http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheVintageParlor
Love the picture of the threads. The melamine table ware- oh no- somewhere I have the orange cups still in use!My mother in law gave them to my husband when he went to uni, I won’t say how long ago, but sometime ago. The boys used to play with them in the paddling pool when little, and now well they are around the place somewhere! I am just beginning to realise how much valued vintage stuff I have in the back of cupboards, could be time to get it all out and do something with it.
