This post is part of my 40 before 40 project.

22. Simplify – get rid of all the junk I have accumulated – have a place for everything and everything in its place.

I dug a little deeper this week, and found – yet again – mostly clothes! I dread to think what I will do when I run out of clothes to de-clutter…

This week, I’m getting rid of:

  • My Year 12 Formal dress. It’s literally been sitting in the cupboard ever since, I’ve only ever worn it the once! Ebay.
  • A manky clay pot… where this come from, I’m not sure. I think I inherited it when I was a teacher from some student art project. Bin.
  • A thin jacket that I haven’t worn in years! Op Shop.
  • A shirt I used to wear a lot, but never really found comfortable… rags.
  • A vintage dress I bought on ebay, but it’s WAY too big for me! Ebay.
  • A broken hairband. Bin. It’s funny the things we hold on to sometimes!
  • Another vintage dress I bought at the op shop, but it doesn’t fit me well. Ebay.

Each week I’ll share my 7 things with you, and if you see anything you’d like to take off my hands (one woman’s trash and all that) feel free to let me know! Anything on ebay you can obviously buy – but if you see something I’m throwing out or sending to the charity shop, all you need to do is cover the cost of postage and I’ll send it to you.

Are you doing your own 365 Things Project? Please share in the comments!
