One of my new blog sponsors this month is emerg{in} store, and this evening I decided to take a virtual meander over there to check out the goods that Naomi has in-store.
I came across a lot of cuteness (much of which I Pinned!) but this necklace was definitely my favourite. For me, it’s because it sums up how I feel about my lovely husband Nick – who has been unbelievably supportive over the last few years while I’ve been on this crazy entrepreneurial ride.
My friend Elle calls him my ‘secret weapon’ and she’s not far wrong! I’m insanely lucky to have a full-time stay-at-home husband who cooks, cleans, does the bookkeeping, and spoils the cat (and me, really).
Okay – cue the soppy music… but my life was truly reinvented when I met him, though I had no idea of it at the time when I first laid eyes on the dark, handsome English backpacker.
Who knew where life would take us, and that it would be so darn fantastic?
Who do you think of when you see this necklace?

Hi Jess! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the shop. I’m so glad you like this necklace. It’s been handmade by a WA designer, called Nevertheless and we loved it to when we saw it and knew we had to stock it. Sheryl (who is the brain behind Nevertheless) is a very talented cookie. She’s just lovely.
I know exactly what you mean about the soppy music. I’m starting to melt a bit just thinking about how much this necklace sums up how I feel about my own partner. It’s been a long journey getting emerg(in) off the ground and there’s still so much more I want to do with it, so many ideas, and I can’t really imagine it existing at all if it wasn’t for the love and support I’ve been given by him.
PS. We’re actually giving away this very necklace for Valentine’s Day over at our blog: http://blog.emergin.com.au/giveaway-valentinesday2012 so if you pop over before tomorrow you may even end up winning it 🙂
Possibly hormonal but you made my eyes water! 🙂
Awww xx
