I was rather amazed when I came across this – who knew you could make something so pretty from something so mundane?
In fact, I was inspired to give it a go myself – here’s my attempt.
You can see I spray-painted mine white – adding a touch of sophistication, perhaps? Or just making it harder for people to work out the origin of the piece! I’d like to keep expanding it, I think.

Love it! If I get to it, I would like to spray paint it black. It reminds me of wrought iron. Would look very cool and would not cost nearly as much as the real thing! Thanks so much for sharing. 😉

That looks fantastic! I’d love to have a go at that painting some in different greens and pinks/purples to give a flower/vine kind of look. You could even go all out and decorate the rolls, maybe with stamping. It could seriously get bigger than Ben Hur 😀
