I’m very happy with how this little baby is going! Although, I think I might be a few years older by the time I actually finish it if I keep working at this rate!
I enjoy just crocheting the little squares with random combinations of different colours – I have a lovely stash of them now. The actual joining together of the squares is a bit more tedious, but I’m doing a little bit at a time. If I left it until I’d finished all the little squares, I’d both be overwhelmed, and I’d have squares lost all over the place!
It’s going to have an interesting texture to it as well – as you can see, the two sides of it look different due to the joining stitch I’m using.
I have visions of this draped over our white leather couch, blending in with the brightly-coloured cushions and just ready to snuggle up with during winter. Of course, we have neither the house, couch or cushions yet – but maybe we will by the time I finish this?

That is very pretty and you are doing a great job. I crochet too.
