I want to introduce you to a new series here on Epheriell Designs.

Entitled ‘A Year of Craft’, this series will run weekly for the rest of 2011 (and perhaps beyond, who knows?).

The aim of the series is simple – each week I will be introducing you to a new crafter or artist, and they will tell you all about what they do in around 200 words.

This all started as an idea I had for a book, originally entitled ’52 Weeks of Craft’, where I would feature 52 different crafts and their creators.

Then I got *bespoke* going, and, well, I realised I just did not have the time at the moment to put the book together. So I asked all of those who had already contributed to the book if they would like to be part of this blog series, and I was very happy to hear back from many of them that they would!

And so it begins. The aim is to share a different craft every week – and there are some coming up that you may never have heard of before!

I have probably got around half a year’s worth of people lined up already… but if you do an unusual art or craft, and would like to be part of the series, please e-mail me – 52weeksofcraft AT epherielldesigns.com. You need to be happy to write 200 words, as well as send through photos of your work and a photo of yourself!
