Saturday afternoon saw the March meet of the Moreton Bay Brown Owls. It was a lovely day, and we had a good 2 hours crafting and chatting.
I made some progress towards finishing the 400(!!) granny squares I need for my ‘white and bright’ blanket (I swear, I’ll have it done by the time we build our house… that gives me a good few years).
Debbie was making kusudama’s, and she gave me one to keep, as well as a square with the folds in it so I can make some for myself!
And Trish decided to tackle the butterfly yo-yo maker she picked up at the Brisbane Craft Expo.
{this photo by Trish, all others by me}
If you live in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland and would like to come along to the meet once a month, just get in touch with me for details!
Update – just remembered I took a photo of my ‘white and bright’ blanket progress so far…
