You have an Indie Biz, and you want the world to know about it!
When you start out with your own business, one of the biggest challenges is finding customers, and getting your work ‘out there’.
If you’re like me, you don’t have much money to spend on expensive advertising campaigns – but you do have TIME. And using social media effectively can take a lot less time than you think – if you’re smart about it…
But social media can seem overwhelming. What do I say? How do I find the time to spend on it in my already busy life?
If you want to get involved in social media – things like facebook, twitter, and blogging – but don’t quite know how to go about it, then I’ve got some good news!
Or, maybe you have given it a go in the past… but given in confusion or frustration. You struggled to build a community and get quality interaction.
I’ve made this course just for you. I’m passionate about the power of social media – it’s what took me from having a hobby to having a thriving full-time creative business.
This course will teach you how to spend your precious time wisely, harnessing the power of social media to get your business out there, and help it to thrive and grow!
Perfect for crafters, artists, photographers, bloggers, and micro-businesses of all types!

Thanks so much for offering this course to the “social media challenged†people. I am currently working on my Facebook page trying to get that going. Need to tackle Twitter next! Thanks for making it no longer “scaryâ€!!!

Without listening to Jess speak about the ease of using facebook and its applications, I don’t think I would have taken the leap. I have now set up a business page and am steadily growing my clientele and have found this a great and easy way to communicate with my customers. I highly recommend taking on board Jess’s advice and taking the leap for your business too!â€

Jess, thanks for sharing all your knowledge and insights through the course. I have appreciated being able to utilize the information at my own pace and to ask questions, no matter how small. The course has pushed me to try some things I wasn’t sure about/afraid of (e.g. NEVER thought I would be on Twitter:) and has helped me see how social media can be beneficial to my business ventures. It’s also been fun to network and make some new online friends:) I look forward to taking what I have learned as I look to launch my shop next month! Thanks again!

I really enjoyed the Crafty and Connected course and learnt so much about the importance of social networking. The tip I found the most helpful was not to try and become a master of every social networking outlet and find those which suit you. My favorite is Facebook.
I was a previous user of Facebook as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family but I didn’t really join up the dots and realise how useful setting up an Angelwing Jewellery page would be for promoting my business.
The fact that I already knew how to navigate and use the site helped too and I felt comfortable with the format, even for a bit of a computerphobe. It is so easy to use Facebook to let people know what my business is up to, post pictures, link to and promote my other selling outlets e.g. Etsy and have albums where people can see a wide range of my jewellery.
I also love the fact that I was able to link my Facebook personal and business pages. I have also just discovered how to link Facebook so that my posts automatically appear on my Angelwing Jewellery website and Twitter account too, which simplifies things.
The advice and support the Crafty and connect course provided really inspired me, boosted my confidence and opened my eyes to whole new world of business networking. It has had a really postive impact.
Thanks for running the course, hope you have lots of people joining you for future ones.
Best wishes, Cathy McCarthy www.angelwingjewellery.com.au
