Seriously, this is awesome! The knitting activist grrl + dog has posted an awesome project on her blog.
It give you the opportunity to be a part of Australia’s biggest pole cosy guerilla knit in the National Gallery of Australia!
She is organising an installation to be put on the columns outside the national gallery – and you can contribute! All you need to do is knit a ‘scarf’ for the pole that is 150cm in length, and no higher than 20cm!
I’m going to get started on my contribution tonight! Oh – and if you commit to her via e-mail, she’ll send you a little handmade thankyou gift when she receives your contribution…
