This week saw another week at home (there’ll be a few more of these as I get my teeth sorted out…). However, I received a few more lovely yarn deliveries, and made some progress on TGAGS on the train, in waiting rooms, and of an evening when a little crochet-induced meditation was in order.

First, the new goodies!

1. From my friend Gaby of Hopeless and Hopelessly Devoted – I really love these colours together…

2. My first international parcel!! From Rebecca of Dream On Pillows.

3. From Christine at the lovely C Percy Designs – so vibrant!!

This weekend I got out of the house and out into the city – dinner and free dancing in the streets at Southbank with my friends Liz and Lisa (BEST and cheapest Japanese restaurant in Brisbane – take note!) on Friday night; out in the groovy West End on Saturday (where I visited Nook – stay tuned for a post all about that – and got my hair dyed an insane red!) – then out to dinner on Saturday night with my friend Kirsten, and up to Mt Coot-Tha for coffee.

Oh, and then I had breakfast in Paddington with Kirsten (whom I’ll be visiting the brisStyle market with next weekend, all being well!), after which we spent a few hours looking through all the boutiques, where she bought stuff and I lived vicariously through her!

I managed to get this photo today of me up at Mt Coot-Tha again with the square (and the new insanely red hair). Can you see the mini-Brisbane behind me??

It’s definitely growing!!
