My first Frocktober vintage dress for you today! A cute little lemon, grey, and white-striped number. Paired up with thrifted belt and shoes, I am seemingly channelling my innner Pippi Longstocking today – though my hair is nowhere near red enough, really!
I’m off to a girlfriend’s 30th birthday party tonight – though I may have to swap these party shoes for something a little more foot-friendly, these babies really need to be worn with stockings or socks.
Worth a donation, sweet readers? Hmmm??

My Frocktober Pledge
I have a couple of pledges for Frocktober – which is an annual event to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research:
- Each day I will don a vintage or handmade dress, take a photo, and blog about it here on Epheriell Designs. Considering I’m travelling to Melbourne and Canberra to attend the Problogger Training Day AND attending one of my bestie’s weddings, it’s going to be a frocktabulous month, and I might even be able to drag some other ladies into the fray!
- I am going to sew my very first dress!!! Yes, I am very, very excited about this – and terrified, too! I have the perfect pattern, the perfect fabric – and it’s one of my goals for 2011. This is just the kick in the skirt that I need to get it done!
- At the end of the month I’m going to auction off one of my vintage dress collection, and all the money raised will go into my pledge fund!

cute dress….& I love the yellow shoes!
I am a sucker for all things yellow!! 😀 It’s one of my favourite colours..including green! Can’t wait to see your other frocks!
Jess, I have the silliest question. Do you ever wear pants? I was loving this look of yours (especially the shoes) and then I started thinking about it and I was all, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her wear pants!” Lol…some people don’t, but I wasn’t sure if you just happen to photograph yourself wearing dresses more or what. Just being nosy. : )
Hehehe… I do, indeed, wear pants (mostly jeans) on occasion, but I do prefer dresses!
When I was a teenager/early 20s, I almost never wore dresses… it’s been a change for me over the years.
