Oh man, how true is this. I am definitely in the ‘lets go for it and see what happens!!’ camp – and I believe that’s a necessary trait for any entrepreneur. You have to be willing to take a risk, and just go for it – and not wait for perfection, or a ‘perfect’ moment.
This causes a bit of friction when Nick and I are trying to make/build something together. He’s very methodical, making sure to ‘cover all the angles’ before we start, whereas I just want to jump in and DO it, and figure it out as we go. We usually find a happy medium, and both perspectives mean that we end up with a better result.
But if I waited for perfection, *bespoke* would not exist, I’d never publish a blog post, and I would certainly not have launched Crafty & Connected. Putting yourself and your work out there like that is scary!
But oh so rewarding, too.
So, which are you? Does the fear of not being perfect hold you back from doing what you want to do?
