In this video, I answer Cassie’s question about her crafty online biz – “what do I do when the sales aren’t coming and I feel like giving up”?
I go over a few concrete actions you can take to not only feel better, but improve your business, to boot.
If you’ve got some ideas, I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
{I recorded this a few months ago, and I have indeed changed my branding since then! You can see the new branding on Epheriell.com.}

Hello Jess,
Thankyou for all your positive advice.
I am hoping to launch a small knitted accessorie collection soon.
Ive not been blogging very long, a few months or so and my blog was just starting to go well.
For some reason my blog has started to show only 1 or 2 posts per page even though my settings say 7 posts per page, its very confusing. Ive tried all sorts to fix it, Im worried its going to put people off coming back to my blog and buying from my new collection when its done.
I understand if this isnt your area and dont know how to fix it, your blog is beautifully layed out and very proffesional,
Thankyou, Emma xx
Hi Emma, good luck with the launch of your new collection!
Alas, without being in the dashboard of your blog, I can’t tell you what’s going on, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I’m sure it won’t stop people from reading!
Thankyou Jess for your advice,
Im not sure what happened but its fixed itself.
Im very excited about starting the new collection so thankyou,
Emma xx
Thank you so much for the great and lovely advice, Jess.. I really needed this:)
You’re welcome, Maslinda! 🙂
Hi Jess
Firstly thank you so much for your wisdom and for taking the time to answer the question. You have definitely given me food for thought and believe me I have got some serious thinking to do. Your comment on whether I want my business to be a hobby/part time or whether I want it to be a full time thriving business really hit a note with me. I realised that I am never going to earn a full time wage if I do not price my products accordingly. Great tip also for mentioning about re-branding. I noticed that you have re-branded Epheriell and love the new look. Definitely an inspiration to all of us.
xx Cass
You’re so welcome Cass, and good luck with working out your prices, it’s a tricky thing for all of us!
