“Every day during 2011, Bristol artist Kirsty Hall will go for a walk to release an art jar into the wild for people to find and keep.” – 365Jars
I chat to Kirsty on twitter from time to time, and I was intrigued by her tweets about this project – so I went to check it out! I love this idea!

Do you know of any similar art projects? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!

I LOVE Kirsty – so glad you featured her 🙂 I’ve been enjoying the journeys her jars have taken.
What an ace idea and so beautifully executed too – thanks for the heads up, off to check out the jar journey now! 🙂
Thanks for this! What an amazing idea. I live quite near to Bristol and I am thinking I might go and have a look for one 🙂

This is indeed a wonderful project! I am looking forward to following along on this journey!
WOW – thanks for the link Jess. I hadn’t heard about Kirsty’s project, but have now added her blog to my feed so that I can keep up!
Cheers,
Tasha
Release them into the wild, I love that! What a cool project, thanks for sharing it with us 😀 I love scientific “jars all lined up with different objects in them” art projects, this turns that around. Nature outside the jars and art inside the jars!
Wow, thanks for linking to the project, Jess, I don’t know how I missed this.
