You know, it can be rather tricky to get back in the swing of things after a long holiday. I hadn’t really taken a break from my biz since I went full-time back at the beginning of 2010 – and when we went away it took me a good week or two to relax.

By the time we got back, I just wanted to keep relaxing! I was devouring novels on my kindle, lazing around, and generally enjoying not doing very much of anything.

But my shops have been shut almost 2 months (!) and I really have to get back to it. One of the cons of working for yourself in a craft business – if I’m not making, I’m not making money! And as much as I love my work, it’s pretty darn nice to have a break every now and again.

In fact, I think it’s helped to re-inspire me – I’ve got all sorts of ideas floating around for the Spring Epheriell collection! (Not to mention a few pieces already made, you’ll get a sneaky peek at some of those soon).

Long story short – I’m back in business, baby! I’ve now re-opened all my main shops – Epheriell.com, Etsy and Madeit, and Etsy and Madeit for Vintette. I’ve been focussing this last week on *bespoke* – making over the blog into something fun and inspiring, as well as getting the last bits and bobs together for Issue 4.

To celebrate, I thought I’d do a little 3-for-2 special! And hey, I’m going to throw *bespoke* into the mix, too!
