Okay… I’ll confess. This isn’t actually in the woods, it’s out backyard. Though it looks like it could be the woods, doesn’t it?

This dress is a little bit cheaty, but it’s so pretty I wanted to share it with you. I actually found this in a local op-shop on Tuesday, and bought it without even trying it on. Luckily, it fits like a dream!

I’m also wearing my ‘header’ shoes and the White Pearl Triptych Necklace. For those who’ve asked (I’ve gotten e-mails about these shoes!) I bought them from… wait for it… Target! Yep! It was a while ago now, though, so I’m afraid you’ll be out of luck if you want a pair.

Tomorrow we hit the road! We’ll be living out of the van (and in it, too) for the next two weeks while we travel to Melbourne and Canberra. It’s going to be a challenge keeping my frocks looking fine (not to mention taking something like 16 dresses with me!!!) but I’m up to the challenge.

Help support my mad quest to frock up on the road, and help me raise funds to support research to find an early detection test for ovarian cancer – a disease that kills one Australian woman every 10 hours.

My Frocktober Pledge

I have a couple of pledges for Frocktober – which is an annual event to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research:

  • Each day I will don a vintage or handmade dress, take a photo, and blog about it here on Epheriell Designs. Considering I’m travelling to Melbourne and Canberra to attend the Problogger Training Day AND attending one of my bestie’s weddings, it’s going to be a frocktabulous month, and I might even be able to drag some other ladies into the fray!
  • I am going to sew my very first dress!!! {DONE!}Yes, I am very, very excited about this – and terrified, too! I have the perfect pattern, the perfect fabric – and it’s one of my goals for 2011. This is just the kick in the skirt that I need to get it done!
  • At the end of the month I’m going to auction off one of my vintage dress collection, and all the money raised will go into my pledge fund!
