Today we welcome fellow Creative Collective member Mel Hince, with her Dream Look! This is a new semi-regular series here, where I invite you to share your dream outfit with us! The only stipulation is that it needs to consist of handmade and vintage pieces only – so if you’ve got an outfit to share, please send it in!

Hi! I’m Mel. I’m a crazy scientist by day and a pretty crazy crafter and blogger by the dark of night. I love pastel colours, things that sparkle and anything rustic/country. I am the designer behind Paper and Ribbons, a store packed with vintage style jewellery for weddings and everyday and write The Crafty DiY Bride, a blog full of inspiration and projects for DiY brides.
As soon as Jess asked me to create a dream outfit, my first thoughts went to the wonders found in Timeless Vixen Vintage. I’m a princess deep down (who of us aren’t – go on, admit it) so I could spend all day flouncing around in a big ball of tulle! My favourite scene in Back to the Future, one of the most awesome movies ever, is when they’re at the dance – enough said.
Add a splash of colour, and wah-la…

I’m a bit of a sucker for red suede shoes too (I wore them at my wedding)!
