Well, Sunday afternoon was quite grand – I was lucky enough to be invited to the Gold Coast launch party for the fashion line collaboration between Liss from Daydream Lily and Element Eden.
It was wonderful to finally meet Liss, after having chatted via e-mail about various things for a long time!
The party was held at Gov’s Espresso – a sweet little cafe/vintage shop at Mermaid beach, and the vintage furniture, various take-home cacti, bunting and flowers gave the whole space a laid-back and gorgeous feel. And then, of course, there was the collection itself – so much pretty!
I also got to meet the talented Brisbane artist Courtney Brimms (yep, you’ve seen her work on Finders Keepers material before!) who did the artwork for the collection – and I succumbed to buying a set of her cards.
We also got this calico keepsake of the design she created for the collection, which I can’t wait to put up on my wall.

During the party we were serenaded by the sweet vocals and guitar of Sarah Archer, a mucho talented local musician.
All in all, it was a lovely, chilled afternoon. Thanks so much for the invite, Liss!
