What is your craft, and why is it awesome?
I just love to create.
Ever since I can remember I would be busy making things. I have always found it to be very relaxing and a great distraction from the daily grind Over the years, I have dabbled in fashion design, jewelry design, painting, drawing, stained glass and stained glass mosaic to name a few.
I fell into glass painting as I love working with glass but found with a small child scampering around my home studio it would not be safe to solder and cut glass in house. A glass painting studio was much safer to set up at home and the creative possibilities are endless.
Inspiration and potential canvasses are everywhere! Every day new ideas crop up. I just can’t resist to paint something ,try new techniques and applications or sketch out new designs. I am in the midst of developing a line of ceramic ware and more whimsical glass home décor items and an exclusive wedding line.
I just can’t imagine doing anything else that brings me as much joy as creating and working with my hands and I am just so excited to have my own business and share my ideas and work with others and to be inspired by my fellow artisans.

Stephanie,
There is definitely a unique thrill in creating things for your own business. I worked in an office for years. Day in and day out I saw how much money I was pulling in for my company and how little of it I was seeing.
Working for myself has been hard at times but creating things and reaping the rewards is worth it.
Thanks for the post!
Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, fantastic blog!
