Today has been breathtaking. A proper, hot, blue-sky Australian Summer’s Day.
Nick and I went to Beachmere for lunch – and ate in a little park just near the ocean.
When I walked past that amazing door I just had to snap a photo of it – the blues were just an utterly perfect reflection of this day.
I also had to capture Nick’s hands – wearing his wedding band on one, and the Square Sterling Band I made him on the other. There is something so… evocative… about hands – don’t you think?

What beautiful weather your having! Very unlike the rain day we’re having over in AZ right now. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the rain)
Inspiring pictures. ;] Thanks for sharing, love.

That door is beautiful!!!!
I LOVE that square band. I wonder if my man would wear one? Hmm….
Deanna – we have had SO much rain this summer, it’s so nice to have a dry day!
Nikki – my Nick *never* wore rings before his wedding band – and once I gave him the square band, he’s not taken it off 😉
What gorgeous blues! that doorway & door is stunning.
& hands… The second thing that I notice on a man after his eyes. I absolutely adore hands.
Ah, blue!
Sounds like a perfect summer day! I love those blue doors, they’re so gorgeous. There are a few buildings with amazing doors in Detroit, but none that are blue!
