cameraWhere do you live?

Scotland, UK

Where do you do your work?

From my work desk in my spare room – a desk to get messy with and draw, and a desk that has to fit a computer and a scanner!

What’s your favourite place in the world, and why?

Paris! The language, the fashion, the people, the buildings, the lights, the food……I could go on and on. My aim is to go live there for a while next summer.

mixTell us a little bit more about yourself! Your ‘day job’ or business, family, hobbies…

I discovered etsy about a year ago as I got fed up with high street shops and always loved looking at things that were a little different – etsy is perfect for that. I decided to open up my own shop and started off adding some photography I did through college but lately decided it was illustrations I loved to do most. By day I study art at college and by night I love making things for etsy. I’m going through a camera obsession at the moment!

What did you want to be ‘when you grew up’?

I never really knew to be honest! I did know that it had to involve being creative in some way. I’d rather make less money and struggle a little by doing something I love, than work all the hours for more money, hating every moment.

How did you first get into your craft/art?

Ever since school, I knew drawing was the only thing I loved doing. Computers and scanners thrown in really made the difference and I found myself doing work that wasn’t part of projects for college.

What do you make?

Mostly Illustrations that are a bit retro – you can buy in prints, buttons and other products which I hope to add too. Sometimes some Photography too. Things i’d buy!

polaWhat are you most proud of making?

My etsy shop, it’s slowly but surely getting to be how I want it.

What do you like the most/least about selling your wares online?

I love the feedback people give you, good or bad. I feel like I’m learning all the time. It’s a great feeling when someone really loves something you do and pushes you to do more. Blogging is fun too, you get inspiration from so many people.

I love…

drawing, thrift stores, cameras, restaurants, paris, and etsy!

It drives me crazy when…

my computer acts up or the internet goes down! Always happens when you’re in the middle of something.

What’s your favourite word?
