Today we welcome another Aussie, (gosh I am having an awesome time sharing all these awesome Aussies with you all!), Gabrielle McGrath from Miss Trinket. Gabrielle has a very funky style, mixing modern sterling silver designs with stones and other elements.
Where do you live?
I live in Armidale NSW.
Where do you do your work?
I have the biggest room in the house. A huge sunroom, with lots of natural light. It’s also the library so there is an entire wall lined with books. I have a 3 and a half  meter long work bench with my work space at one end and my computer at the other. This started out as a shared studio space with my partner who is also an artist.  I slowly took over and spread out and now he’s banished to the shed. Although I still claim that space too when there is a bigger work in the making or more industrial tools are needed.
Day Job…….. I work as a picture framer,  joining and assembling frames.
How did you first get into your craft/art?
I guess I’ve always been a tinkerer of sorts, I started out hammering nails and modeling putty in my Dad’s shed. I was really into beading at school and worked both on a beading loom as well as free-hand stuff. I then went on to study Sculpture at the National Art School in Sydney.  I absolutely adore the discipline of construction based sculpture and love working in the miniature, hence the small wearable art pieces.
What do you make?
I make one of a kind wearable art Trinkets using recycled Sterling Silver, found objects , beads, beach stones, feathers, resin and really any other medium that takes my fancy.
What are you most proud of making?
Not one particular item. I feel proud when a piece sells. The fact that someone else wants to take it and love it and wear it.
What do you like the most/least about selling your wares online?
I like the freedom it offers. Being able to take your own pictures and create your own image (although this can be a bit time consuming.) Â I also like the direct interaction with the customer/client.
I love…
Working with my hands…
What’s your favourite word?

Oh she has the most beautiful items. My favourite is the Turquoise and Stirling Silver Earrings.
So hard to pick! My absolute favourite is the bone & silver pendant but the silver, coral & agate pendant runs a very close second.
I am loving the Earrings: Turquoise and Sterling Silver. The colour is just gorgeous!

I could see myself wearing them every day.
But for something really different that would complement my fashion, I’d put the silver and red coral necklace on my wishlist:
