Yesterday was Nick and my 2nd wedding anniversary – hurrah!

Luckily, the day before, I stumbled over this photo on Pinterest. I thought it was such a cute idea, so we decided to start off doing an anniversary photo each year. I might have to ‘fake’ a 1st anniversary shot! Of course, we rigged up a tripod to take these shots – so they weren’t quite as artistically focussed as the example photo.

I made the number 2 out of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow flowers, which are blooming like crazy here at the moment (and which I’ll blog about a little more tomorrow). It’s going to be interesting coming up with a new ‘theme’ for the number each year. If I was more organised I think I would have tried to make the number out of the material that is traditionally given for each anniversary – I was told that the 2nd anniversary gift is cotton.

I think it will be really fascinating to watch us grow and change as we get older. I wonder what we’ll look like in 30 years time? Heck, I wonder what we’ll look like next year!

Oh, and just so you know, in case you haven’t been around here that long… this is what we looked like on this day 2 years ago…

There was a lot of that going on on our wedding day!
