Happy Friday! Another week has flown by, huh? I have been squirreling away on jewellery all week (as my Instagram followers would know – sorry, got a bit carried away there!) and putting together the draft for the next *bespoke*.

Today I wanted to share this awesomesauce stationery shop with you – Present & Correct!

They stock an insane amount of gorgeous and clever stuff – both new and vintage.

A colour-blocked training typewriter – you can remove the coloured hoods to reveal the keys.

Know-it-all pencils

Insanely cute button push-pins!

A box of vintage erasers.

A 70s dial calendar – I’ve never seen one of these before!

Honestly, I wanted to blog the entire freaking shop, but then why would you need to visit their site? Apart from the need to buy lots of things…

This post reminded me of when I used to work as the manager of a maths and English tuition centre (you know I used to be a teacher, right?). We took kids up to Grade 10 (that’s 15 years old for non-Queenslanders). On the top-level spelling test they took before they started, ‘stationery’ was probably the most consistently misspelt word of all.

A couple of my twitter friends have told me some mnemonics I wish I’d known then so I could have taught my kids!

Jessica from @foxesshop said ‘I was taught E for Envelope stationary/stationery’ – and Kel from @Blackcurrantpix was taught ‘you have to stand still before you can buy paper 😉 stationary/stationery’.

Love it! Do you have any fave mnemonics?
