… that I’ve created my very first e-course!
If you already hang out with me on twitter or facebook, then you’ve no doubt seen me talking about this – but for those of you that don’t, well, it’s YOU that this course is really for!
You might not know this, but I used to be a teacher! I love learning, and I love teaching, and I’ve wanted to put together a course for a very long time now… but the right idea just didn’t come to mind.
Until now. I’ve found myself becoming a bit of an advocate for the power of using social media to grow a business. I see SO Â many people who struggle to ‘get on board’ with things like twitter, facebook – even blogging! So I’ve come up with a course for you.
I’ve called my course Crafty & Connected: A Social Media Bootcamp for Indie Biz. It’s a 6-week live course that aims to get you started with a whole range of social media (even a few you might not have heard of…), with the goal of avoiding all the common mistakes and pitfalls new social media uses make, and to get you comfortable and confident using them!
The aim is try them out, and find the social media that you fall in love with. The one you enjoy being a part of, that you love to visit and take part in – the one where you can build a community around yourself – and your business.
Head on over here to find out a little more, and to hear me talking about why I developed this course. And for all the details, visit this page.
The course starts on May 2nd, and early-bird registration is now open (if you get in early you get a special price – it goes up to the full rate on the 20th).
This course is made for people who have a small crafty biz – whether you’re a crafter, artist, photographer, or a blogger. The aim is to teach you how to ‘get out there’ and get your work seen and noticed. It’s also great for those who have a hobby business, and want to get in on the ground floor with social media with the dream of turning it into more than a hobby!
Social media is THE best marketing tool ever for the small biz – because it’s free! And if you use it right, it can take a LOT less time than you think…
I really hope that this is the course some of you have been waiting for – I can’t wait to get started!!!
Jess xx

Still excited!
Awesome, can’t wait to see you in class! 😉
Good luck with your e-course Jess.
If anyone is reading this, I can highly recommend Jess as a teacher of all things Social Media. I was lucky enough to attend a teaching session with Jess recently and I learnt heaps xo
Oh, thanks so much, Melinda! x
