Happy Monday! I thought I’d kick off the week with something beautiful, and these hand-embroidered pretties from Something Old Something New fit the bill, don’t you think?

SOSN is the work of Abbey Vanderlin from Pennsylvania (I had a pen-pal from there once!) and her work is beautifully detailed and meticulous. Gorgeous colours, too!

P.S. I am practically bouncing off the walls today because we MIGHT be adopting a new kitty! He’s an 18-month-old grey and white Maine Coon cat that needs a new home, as his owners had to move away. Nick and I are going to meet him this afternoon. I SO hope we’re a good fit – I’ve been wanting a new kitty forever, and I’m a big believer that pets seem to find you, rather than the other way round, so I’m hoping that we’ll be bringing him home this afternoon!
