And so it grows!!

This week I arrived home to find some lovely yarn packages waiting for me… I was so excited! I’d run out of yarn between Canberra and Brisbane, and I was dying to do some hooking… (wait, if I leave that in here I might get some unwanted guests… ah well, you all know what I mean..)

Here are the gorgeous packages:

1. From Carmel of Lace & Links

2. From Sally of Sally’s Original Art

3. From Jodie of Applecart & Co.

This will all keep me going for a little while!

I know some of you out there are also sending more packages – can’t wait to see them. We’ll be here for another few weeks, so if anyone else would like to contribute, just let me know, and I’ll send you the address!

Now, you all saw TGAGS in Sydney last week – this week is more about home. (For anyone looking forward to Byron Bay – sorry! The weather was awful, so we came home sooner than expected – promise I’ll go there next time round).

I started with one of the skeins of wool from Sally – the lovely muted rainbow one!

TGAGS is just big enough now to be a little cat-blanket – as evidenced below.

Here is our cat Gobbolino:

And my parent’s cat, Calvin:

And to continue the animal theme – this gorgeous little handmade bunny by Julie Blanchette – totally squee-full!

I’m hoping to make more progress this week – I might swap out for another colour soon, just to keep it interesting!
