I’m having ‘one of those days’ – you know, where little things keep going wrong, and frustration levels are rising, rising!
So, I thought I’d take a little break from work, and do something that I’ve been considering for a while now! And, well, doing something nice for other people is always a good way to get rid of the grumps, right?
So! Today I’m announcing a bit of an impromptu giveaway! My January Giveaway is still ticking along, but I wanted to do something different – a giveaway of sponsor space here on Epheriell Designs.
This blog has been growing in leaps and bounds lately (a big thank you to all my new – and not-so-new – readers for being here!) and I thought that I might be able to help one micro-business get a little bit more exposure by offering a 3-month Standard ad space – for free! (edit – I forgot to mention – if you were to purchase this space, it would cost $140)
With a 3-month spot, the winner will not only get a button ad in the sidebar, but also a Sponsor Love post on the blog highlighting their awesomeness! In December, the blog got over 45,000 pageviews – so it’s going to be some nice exposure for someone!
Here’s the deal:
- You can nominate yourself, or someone else (and the same person can nominate as many other businesses as they like!). The person nominated must have an online handmade, vintage, or craft supply business – OR a handmade/crafty/design blog (P.S. if you nominate someone else, please let them know so they can come have a look).
- Leave your nomination in the comments (with a link to the business you are nominating, please!) with a few sentences about why you think this business deserves to snaffle some free advertising.
- I will consider all nominations, and make a decision as to the winner this time next week, after which I will announce it here on Epheriell Designs.
- This competition is not open to past or current advertisers on Epheriell Designs – I’d like to give someone brand new a chance!
That’s it! Get nominating folks!

HI Jess,
I would like to nominate my art business Tracey Potter | Artist.
Through my painting my goal is to make people think, and smile. I’d like to think that my art is making the world a better place and I’d love to share my images with as many people as possible, so 3 months worth of fee advertising would be fantastic!
I have a blog (http://traceypotterartist.blogspot.com/)
and also sell my paintings online through my facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/tracey.potter.artist)
Thanks, Tracey.
Hi Jess…
I am so thrilled to have found you!! I have spent the past several weeks absorbing everything that has your name attached to it..lol. I actually found you while searching for a video tutorial on how to make balled headpins…lol.
I would like to nominate my handcrafted endeavor http://www.zumalilly.etsy.com, which is struggling pathetically. I can not seem to get any views, not to mention a sale or two!!
I’m currently following your guidance on how to obtain a domain/web hosting, so I can get a blog up and running. Not sure if you need a blog/website to qualify for your generous giveaway. But with no fans, no tweeps, NO followers what so ever, I could use the boost…lol.
You have been my encouragement, Jess. Thank you. Thank you for your goodness and dedication.
~Zuma
Hello Jess, I am nominating my handmade paper jewellery
It needs a little push into the world- been hiding behind my skirts for far too long. So thank you for the opportunity!
And I hope it is a happy day for you, Sharon

I just wanted to let you know that I shared your giveaway with my Corvallis Etsy Team and also posted it on my Weekend Roundup post on my blog today. I’d love it if you came and checked it out. Thanks again for the inspiration!
I would like to nominate Kell from Blackcurrant Photography. http://blackcurrantphotography.wordpress.com/
She takes gorgeous photographs and has just finished her course at tafe and is wanting to make it her full time job.
I think 3 months of advertising on such a great blog would really be beneficial to her and to her business.
Gosh, aren’t you nice!
I’d like to nominate my etsy shop – http://milkandcookies.etsy.com
I’ve recently started selling my artwork and paper goods online, and am absolutely loving it! It’s coming along slowly but surely.
I think one of the biggest obstacles for any new handmade biz is getting exposure, and getting people to know that you even exist amongst the thousands of sites competing for people’s eyeballs every day.
I would love the opportunity for more people to see my work!
Thanks Jess, and good luck to all 🙂
Hi Jess! I would like to nominate my new little label ‘Once I Was”. I am pretty new at all of this and only opened my store http://www.madeit.com.au/onceiwas a couple of months ago! I upcycle EVERYTHING – and make anything from childrens toys to jewellery. I am really ready to take my business to the next level and the exposure from your very successful Blog would be a dream come true! Most of my sales have been through word of mouth, so to get it out there to SO many people would be awesome! Thanks so much for the opportunity 🙂
I’d like to nominate my store ‘dkshopgirl’. I’m a mum who helps home school our 4 children (prep, yr1, yr 2, yr 3) on a remote cattle property in North West Qld. After that I cook, clean, garden, do office work but still love to do art and craft which must fit in from 10pm – midnight! (I’m addicted to mosaic pots and shabby chic pieces!)
I have sold a number of things privately and a couple online, but don’t have access to markets due to my location and so am trying everything I can think of to ‘get noticed’ online. Any extra advertising would be sooo fantastic. Thank you for this wonderful offer 🙂
