Frocktober is technically at an end… but I want to fulfil my pledge of auctioning off a dress from my vintage collection, to add to the total!
Introducing… the Brigitte Dress!
The Brigitte Dress is a pretty lady from the 70s. She is made from a shiny synthetic fabric, no ironing for her!
The top layer is quite fine, and she has a full-body slip underneath. The whole dress is quite heavy – it feels like it would make a nice warm dress for autumn/fall when paired with stockings and a shawl or jacket.
She’s a cream colour, decorated with peach and grey starburst designs. I’ve had her in my closet for a while, but have chosen to part with her because as lovely as she is, she doesn’t really fit my current style. She’s an Aussie size 12/UK 10/US 8 – but with an elastic waist that has plenty of give!
I’m hoping she can find a happy new home, and we can raise some more money for Frocktober at the same time!
I think we’ll start the bidding at $10! Just leave a comment below with your bid.
Please leave any questions you may have, too!
The bidding will close in 48 hours time, and the money raised will be donated to Frocktober, to help fight Ovarian Cancer.
