I finally got around to taking photos of my three new aprons! {Or, rather, roping Nick in to taking photos of me in my three new aprons.}

For a person who rarely cooks, this is probably overkill… but there is a reason for each one.

This was the first one I bought, from Miranda’s Creations on Madeit – and this IS my actual cooking apron. In fact, I used it on Saturday to bake some babycakes (from a packet mix, I won’t lie) and it protected my dress a treat! I love the pocket, too.

This next one, well – I bought it because how could I NOT? I mean – vintage Star Wars fabric turned into an apron? Heck, I’d wear this out as clothes!

Thank you, Thursday!

Oh yeah, did I mention that it’s fully reversible? So if I DO have to cook in it, I can use the other side – awesome!

{P.S. I also got this most adorable fabric panel from Thursday. Here it is in its new home… part of a decor project I’ll have to share with you soon!}

Finally – the most-used of them all! For a while I’ve been thinking about getting an apron to wear while I work in the studio – especially when doing potentially clothes-ruining things like soldering and gluing. So, I went looking for a long, linen apron, which went over your shoulders rather than behind your neck (I hate halter-style clothes, I find them really uncomfortable to wear for any length of time… like all day.).

I found my perfect apron – and it was made-to-measure for me by Historika on Etsy!

Naomi specialises in historically accurate 1790s – 1830s style fashion – which you can see in the cut of this. My mum told me I looked Amish the first time I wore it! I tie it at the front so the knot doesn’t dig into my back when I’m sitting down.

I absolutely love it – it is so comfortable, fits perfectly, and protects all my clothes really well. What more could you want in a work apron?
