I adore this dress! Mostly because it is beautiful (I adore the lilac!). But I love it even more so because it is:
- handmade
- by an Australian
- from vintage fabric
It’s like a triple-win!
This is one of two dresses leant to me by the wonderful Sandra of Grace of Autumn. When she saw I was doing Frocktober, she got in touch straight away to let me know she’d love to lend me a few dresses to wear!
She’s a barefoot girl like me, so I had to rock these dresses without shoes… even though it is a freezing day here in Canberra!
This dress is a size 12, and is $90. It’s also one-of-a-kind… so if any of you fall in love with it, make sure to get in touch with Sandra (or leave a comment below) to reserve it!
I’ve got another Grace of Autumn dress to wear tomorrow… and I am actually very tempted to buy one of them myself.
In fact, if I can reach $250 raised for Frocktober by tomorrow night, I will buy one of them! And you can help me pick!
So come on, donate to help find an early detection test for Ovarian Cancer (a silent killer of women world-wide) and support the Aussie handmade community while you’re at it!
