When I think of wallpaper, I think of England. Well, I think of old houses, really. It doesn’t seem to be something that people here in Australia put in their houses very much – though there does seem to be an ongoing trend to bring it back that I’ve noticed in the blogosphere.
This wallpaper – from Grow House Grow – is not only lovely, it’s also hand-printed! Grow House Grow is run by Brooklyn-based illustrator and designer Katie Deedy. Her aim is to produce narrative-inspired wallpaper that “fills our living spaces with things that create an environment that is both personal and universal; just as a good story does. ”
I think the designs and colour palettes are just lovely.
P.S. Just in case you can’t tell because of the distance…the blue wallpaper is a bunny pattern – cute!

you’re very welcome, it was well deserved (^_^)
Lovely Post Jess! I do love wallpaper (especially hand printed)… personally cannot wait to use it at our abode one-day. Its just a matter of finding the perfect wall to sport it (like a feature).
My parents are English & my Dad was pretty old fashioned so whilst many of my friends had newer houses with cool paint & carpets, we had persian rugs, floorboards, ornate ceilings, elaborate art prints from the masters and fading wallpaper. It was like living in museum.
Hated it as a kid but miss it terribly now.
Oh and I like the one bottom left. I always wanted a blue room.
I live in England and have wallpaper in my bedroom and in the sitting room on one wall. I think it may be because most of our houses here are built from bricks and mortar. Timber framed houses with stud walls are more difficult to paper, apparently.
Love the stuff!
Patsy
