Hello! This is me, with my new hair and a new/old dress.
I love, love, LOVE this dress! It’s a genuine 50s Swirl dress – it even has the signature button on the back – I think I might have to start a collection of these, they are really too perfect!
Oh yes, and my new hair. Well, I thought I’d go a little crazy and try blonde, since it’s the only colour I’m yet to do… but the hairdressers took one look at my bright red hair and basically laughed at me – they said it would take a number of tries to get all the red out. So, I bought this permanent dye at the supermarket.
It’s supposed to be a dark purple… but it’s kinda turned out brown/purple/red… I think I’ll try it again in a few weeks and leave it in longer next time. I really like it, though!
In the sun – you can see how the red comes out in my hair colour. And how cute is this 3/4 vintage grey jacket??
I didn’t realise how long my hair was getting till I saw this photo!
This is the outfit I wore to the Kimono Reincarnate art show last night… I shall tell you more about that soon!
Happy days!
Dress – Vintage Swirl, bought from The Private Party
Jacket – Vintage, bought from Vacation Vintage
Boots – A few years old, can’t remember where I bought them.
Jewellery – Vintette

Ooohh I like it!! It’s a bit more rich than your old colour and really compliments your complexion.
Adorable. I love the way your hair frames your face and the warmth of the color.
Also the print on that dress has my favorite golden yellow on it. Such a happy color.
It is, isn’t it! I never used to like yellow, but it’s growing on me 🙂

I wish I could have gone blond, Em!!! Curses!

Hi Jess,
I so love that dress, I love the pattern on the fabric & what beautiful lines it has- the square neckline & the waistline so lovely. I really like the new hair colour but most of all I like the new length, it really suits you. It always feels nice having a change of hairstyle- I’m growing mine at the moment.

What are some tips for home gardening to attract biedd?Besisrs using bird houses, feeders, and baths. Do you use your flower beds and landscaping to attract birds to your yard? What plants do you use? How do you layout your garden in respect to birdbaths, feeders and houses?
Love the new hair color! I think it’s a more flattering shade for your skin tones. The other shade was a bit harsh by comparison. Wonderful dress too.
Hello ev!dConeeyonrolence to the family of Dakgal.Wow! Kari will try Archie’s Thai, just this past thread, FOD mentioned Archie Thai, it might be famous , sounds like everyone know this restaurant in Las Vegas.Ist picture brought back memories of David 2nd visit to Manila on 2010, signing of TOSOD cd( not the ATE) at Skydome, it was jampacked and quite hot, David had a punchline of Feeling hot hot hot song lol and everyone screamed. It was really fun that night, he sang 3 songs and then cd signing.
Thank you for all your lovely comments, sweethearts!! 😀 xx
