In honour of my friend Thursday getting her Crafty Tattoo finished, I thought I’d do a little photoessay showing off some of the most awesome tattoos on some of the most awesome crafty ladies I know online!
First – here’s Thursday‘s – it reads ‘Happiness is Homemade’
I love the colours! That’s something all of these tattoos have in common – they are so bright and vibrant!

{Katy}
Do you have a crafty tattoo – or do you want one?
Part of me would love one, but honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever get a tattoo. Not because I don’t like the idea (because I do!) but because I’m too fickle!
I can’t imagine choosing a design to have on my body FOREVER! My tastes and styles change quite regularly, so I’d be too afraid that something that I love now would become something I’d hate in 10 years time.
So hurrah to the crafty ladies with the guts to go for it!

I love crafty, quirky tattoos. I really like how Katy in the last pic. mixes up craft with old school style. Cool! Makes me want to go out there and get a 2nd tatt! (I have a small love heart tatt on my wrist. Would love to get more though!).
ohhh I love crafty tattoos too! I have lots of girly ones but I would love to add something handmade and crafty one day to my collection! thanks for sharing
Daughter and I were only having a conversation yesterday about tattoos – and what I would do if she came home with one… (Answer: stand between her and her Father…)
I toyed with the idea when I was younger, but never had the courage to follow through. Hats off to these crafty gals with the guts to go through with it.
Cheers,
Tasha
What an awesome post….the blog looks great too Jess!
SO GOOD! My tat isn’t crafty, quite… but there ARE doilies!!
aww, thank you so much for this feature Jess! it’s an honour to be in such good company 🙂
You are so welcome, my dear!! x
I’d LOVE a crafty tattoo!! I have a coupl eof tattoo’s but no big cool colourful designs 🙁 maybe one day!!
Great post Jess, these are all such colorful & amazing crafty tattoos.
among a bunch of non-crafty tattoos, I had “knit” & “purl” tattooed on my knuckles a few years ago now. I also have “k2tog” & “ssk” on the backs of my arms, right above my elbows.
Groovy Tam! 🙂
These are gorgeous! I’ve managed to stay tattoo free so far, but theses are soooo tempting!
Oooohhh! I love those tattoos! After years of wanting one but never being able to decide on a design I want to wear for the rest of my life – I finally have! Now I just need to decide where I want it 🙂
Oh wow! Can’t wait to see what it is when you decide 🙂
LOVE THEM ALL!!!! So bright and bold!!! I was planning on getting a tattoo for my 21st and 8 years later I still don’t have one. I have never been able to choose what I want on me for ever. I still want one though so I better choose something! maybe BUTTONS 🙂
Wowzers – these are awesome! I particularly love the old school camera tattoo.
I have a bunch of tatts already but I don’t think I could actually choose which crafty bits to put into a crafty tattoo – ’cause I’m a bit of a art/craft whore!
Collage, paint, fabric, sewing … the list goes on
WOW!!! Talk about an extension of your craft :0) I love ‘Craft or Die’ – my sentiment exactly!
thanks so much for including me/my tattoos in your photoessay!! XO
Love them!!!
There’s some amazing skin art there! I’m like you, I change my mind and my tastes too often to commit to something like this.
I have a big tattoo on the back of my leg that has scissors in it. I got it when I was a hairstylist, but I guess it works for being a seamstress too! I was thinking this week I’d love to get something specifically related to my craft, though.
How often have you seen a weaving tattoo?! I think I can honestly say
this is the first one I’ve seen. It’s a great one, though! Ni had a
shuttle tattooed on her upper arm. The placement and the wood grain and
the color are all so perfect!Â
It’s very informative posting, actualy i’m untrodden in the province concern, so this script cure me much augment my knowledge.
It was fun reading all about everyone’s tattoos and what prompted them to get them. Thanks for taking part!
